Our commitment
AI DEN Solutions builds for WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We apply that standard to this site and to every site we build for a client, as standard scope rather than a paid add-on.
We also build to it because we sell accessibility work. A firm that ships inaccessible websites has no business auditing anyone else's.
Conformance status
This site is designed and built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It has been checked with automated tooling and manual keyboard testing. It has not yet been through a full independent audit or comprehensive assistive-technology testing. We describe it as partially conformant until that is done, because automated tools detect only a portion of real accessibility barriers and we would rather understate this than overstate it.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single, correct heading order on every page
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator throughout
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element
- Text and interface contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1
- Form fields with real labels, programmatically associated error messages, and errors announced rather than shown by colour alone
prefers-reduced-motionrespected - all animation is disabled for visitors who ask for that- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology
- Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320px
- Accordions and navigation built from native elements so they work without JavaScript
Known limitations
We would rather list these than pretend they do not exist:
- No full independent audit has been carried out yet. One is planned before we bid any public-sector work.
- Screen-reader testing so far covers the main page templates, not every page.
- Any third-party embed we add later - a scheduler, for example - is outside our direct control. We test them before adding them and will list any that fall short here.
Colorado HB21-1110
Colorado House Bill 21-1110 requires state and local public entities to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If you are a public entity evaluating us for work, this statement and the site itself are meant to be part of your evidence. We are happy to walk through our approach in detail.
